DDWDisplay Supports Guinness World Record: World’s Largest Transparent LED Booth at WDS 2026, Riyadh
Introduction
DDWDisplay was honored to participate in the Saudi Ministry of Interior (MOI) Transparent Pavilion project at the 2026 World Defense Show (WDS). The installation, carried out from January 23 to February 7, 2026, included 351.808 sqm of TAD Series transparent LED screens and 150 sqm of TI Series INFINITY ceiling screens. Despite the tight schedule and technical complexity, our team completed installation and commissioning on time and provided full on-site support throughout the exhibition from February 8 to 12. The project has also been submitted for consideration for a Guinness World Record, marking a significant milestone for our team.
During the 2026 World Defense Show (WDS) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, DDWDisplay had the privilege of participating in a landmark national project led by the Saudi Ministry of Interior (MOI).
The project has now been officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the World’s Largest Transparent LED Booth, covering a total transparent display area of 351.808 square meters. The record was achieved in Riyadh on 9 February 2026.
For our team, this was more than a display installation — it was a technically demanding and time-critical mission delivered under the framework of a high-level government project.
Project Timeline and Execution
Installation works were carried out from January 23 to February 7, 2026, followed by continuous technical support during the exhibition period from February 8 to February 12.
The pavilion featured: 351.808 sqm of TAD Series Transparent LED Screens forming the main transparent façade 150 sqm of TI Series INFINITY ceiling LED screens integrated into the overhead structure Both systems were engineered to integrate seamlessly into the architectural concept of the pavilion while maintaining structural safety, display clarity, and installation efficiency.
Given the scale and structural complexity, precise coordination and disciplined execution were critical. Our engineering team completed installation and full system commissioning within the designated timeframe. During the exhibition, DDWDisplay technicians remained on-site to monitor system performance and ensure uninterrupted operation.
After the exhibition concluded, we provided dismantling training and technical documentation to the client’s technical team, ensuring safe and professional handling of the display systems.
A Milestone for Transparent LED Engineering
The Guinness certification for the largest transparent LED booth (351.808 sqm) reflects not only the scale of the installation but also the growing maturity of transparent LED display technology in large-scale architectural applications.
Being involved in a project of this level reinforces DDWDisplay’s experience in executing complex transparent LED installations under demanding conditions, particularly in high-profile government environments. We sincerely appreciate the trust placed in DDWDisplay by the Saudi Ministry of Interior and value the opportunity to contribute to such a significant project in Riyadh.
